Following operating rules describe the overall Editorial Policy.
1. The Promotors’ Blog Posts are desired to be as brief and focused as possible. If the original are too long then the full versions will be posted on Promotors’ Archive and an abridged version will be posted on the Promotors’ Blog.
2. Comments by Promotors on current affairs, news and Contributors’ Blog will be posted on Contributors’ Blog.
3. The Contributors’ Blog Posts are also desired to be as brief and focused as possible. If the original are too long then the full versions will be posted on Contributors’ Archive and an abridged version will be posted on the Contributors’ Blog. Contributors’ are requested to subscribe to this policy, so as to minimize editorial intervention. A separate email ID is being provided for Contributors to send their full versions.
4. Similarly, the Documentation Blog is for Contributors’ to provide links, abstracts and abridged versions of “Third Party”, i.e. materials that do not originate directly from either the Promotors or the Contributors but are found them to be fit for documenting on this website. The full versions may be sent on the email ID being provided for direct communication with the Promotors.
5. Any posts that are totally disconnected with the focus themes are discouraged and the Promotors reserve the right to delete them from Blog Posts as well as Archives.
6. General affirmative or critical comments on individuals, organizations and political parties are totally discouraged. However Blog Posts on policies by the same pertaining to the focus themes of this website are welcome. The Promotors’ reserve the right to delete any Blog Posts and Archives that are outrightly fall outside the Editorial Policy.
7. Promotors recognize that there always are likely to be “grey areas” where Posts by Contributors as well as members of the Promotors Group contain matters that may not strictly adhere to the policy outlined in “6” above but are integral to the matters that are acceptable in the broadest sense of the Editorial Policy. In such cases the Promotors may ask the contributors to suitable modify their posts or allow the post to be put up under the appropriate Blogs and Archives of this website.
8. Similarly, it is possible that posts that do not subscribe to the Editorial Policy in the broadest sense will appear on the Blog Posts and Archives briefly due to human error or escaping attention till that gets noticed, or purely inadvertently. In such cases Contributors are requested to bring it to the attention of the Promotors through Blog Posts and/or through email ID provided for direct communication with the Promotors.
9. The Promotors believe in the concept of “Freedom of Thought, Speech and Expression” and therefore would themselves like to take a broadest view of the implementation of the Editorial Policy. However obnoxious and/or distasteful, particularly personalized, posts on any individuals or entities are most undesirable. Similarly, vulgar and abusive posts on any political parties or their ideologies are totally discouraged.
10. However, there is a practical limit to which an editorial policy can be implemented without rejecting a post that very much contributes to the basic themes of this website. Therefore, the Promotors hereby issue a disclaimer that any views and comments are purely of the individual or entity in whose name the post has been put up and cannot be held responsible for the same.
